Profeda BV is an organisation focused on training and advisory services in external (international) financial reporting.


PROFEDA is the training and advisory practice founded by Stefan Betting. Stefan (Drs., RA) is a leading freelance lecturer and examiner in (international) external financial reporting at Nyenrode Business University. With over 25 years’ experience, he has delivered training, masterclasses, and courses across sectors, energy, telecoms, and financial services, while leading large‑scale projects in IFRS, US GAAP, Dutch GAAP, sustainability reporting (e.g., CSRD/ESRS, IFRS S1/S2), and AI in reporting. Since November 2022, he has also focused on the practical application of AI in financial reporting.

Accountancy has been part of Stefan’s life from the outset; his father was an accountant too. Rooted in two generations of experience, PROFEDA develops training for finance professionals to enhance quality standards and support the growth and success of participants and their organisations.
In practice, this includes delivering seminars, lectures, training, conferences, trade fairs, and events, always focused on knowledge that delivers value. We also publish blogs, articles, and books, and create business simulations (“serious games”), webinars, and scenario‑based simulations.
